Crew training shall be logged or otherwise documented for review by the Coast Guard upon request. The training entry shall include the following information.
MI discovered that there was no record keeping of any drill conducted. Provide proof of record keeping system to document drills to include date of training, persons involved, drill type, and lesson learned. Include a logged drill in the new log system. Documentation is to be made at a minimum of every three months.

The construction and arrangement of a vessel must allow the safe operation of the vessel in accordance with the terms of its Certificate of Inspection giving consideration to provisions for a seaworthy hull, protection against fire, means of escape in case of a sudden unexpected casualty, guards and rails in hazardous places, ventilation of enclosed spaces, and necessary facilities for passengers and crew.
Marine Inspectors discovered porosity on the port and starboard transom welds as well as two cracked welds on the starboard bow.
