All lifesaving appliances and arrangements shall comply with applicable requirements of the code. Except where otherwise stated, the normal equipment of every lifeboat shall consist of; watertight receptacles containing a total of 3L of fresh water for each person the lifeboat is permitted to accommodate. PSCO observed 20 water packets in free fall life boat leaking water and or air. Crew had spares on board and replaced all damaged bags with new water. 74 SOLAS (2020) III/34 LSA 4.4.8.9 CODE 10
