Suitable arrangements shall be provided to preclude, as far as practicable, the entry of oil or other contaminants which may adversely affect the boiler. PSCO observed oil accumulation in the vessel’s cascade and inspection tank. 74 SOLAS (20) II-1/32.5

Resolution: Inspected cascade and inspection tank and found no free floating oil or debris. Tested OCM and alarms for cascade tank; all found in good order.
