Fire-fighting systems and appliances shall be kept in good working order and readily available for immediate use. Observed multiple fire suppression nozzles throughout machinery space with paint overspray, impeding operational capabilities 74SOLAS(20) II-2/14.2.1.2
Condition: Damaged By Earlier Event
Action required: 10 - Deficiency Rectified
Resolved 5 December 2022
Resolution: Replaced effected nozzles while CG onboard. RINA followed up with survey of all nozzles in engine room to determine if more needed replacing. Rcv'd letter from RINA after survey, all SAT.
