A vessel must comply with the applicable requirements for any radio and Electronic Position Indicating Radiobeacon (EPIRB) installations, including the requirements for a station license and installation certificates to be issued by the Federal Communications Commission, as set forth in 47 CFR part 80. The radiotelephone installation must be installed to insure safe operation of the equipment and to facilitate repair. It must be protected against the vibration, moisture, temperature, and excessive currents and voltages. Installed radio does not transmit. Repair as required.

The medical certificate will be issued for various periods of time based upon the endorsements the mariner holds. Medical certificates issued to all other mariners will be issued for a maximum period of 5 years. Vessel's Captain has an expired medical certificate (Last issue 2016). Present Marine Inspector with objective evidence showing Captain has completed medical certificate requirements.
