Additionally, fuel samples containers in the steering gear room. The fuel samples were also leaking and fuel oil accumulation was observed around the samples and on the steering gear room deck. 74 SOLAS (20) II-2/4.1.1

The Master, owner, operator, agent, or PIC of any vessel equipped with ballast water tanks that operates in the waters of the United States must maintain a BWM plan. The Plan must include actions for implementing mandatory BWM requirements and practices. Currently, vessel does not have an installed and approved BW treatment system nor does the onboard ballast management plan address not conducting ballast water exchanges within U.S. waters.
