It shall be permanently connected to the bilge main and may also be connected to the fire main. If of sufficient capacity the power bilge pump may also serve as a fire pump. Bilge pump unable to self-prime. Affect satisfactory repairs/replacement of bilge pump to produce self-priming capabilities. No vessel movement until witnessed by USCG Inspectors and satisfactory underway drills are conducted.
