The means of escape, including stairways and exits, shall be marked by lighting or photoluminescent strip indicators placed not more than 300 mm above the deck at all points of the escape route, including angles and intersections. The markings must enable passengers/crew to identify the routes of escape and readily identify the escape exits. Additionally, escape route signs and fire equipment location markings shall be photoluminescent material or marked by lighting. Means shall be provided to control leaks of flammable liquids. PSCO discovered an emergency MGO storage tank with a capacity of 41.4 m3 in the emergency diesel generator room actively leaking. Approximately 2 oz of fuel was found on deck as a result of the leak. Corrected on the spot by tightening the bolts on the manhole cover. 74 Solas 20 II-2/4.1.1 Code 10c
