Gas detectors shall be fitted in these spaces, particularly where air circulation is reduced. The gas detection system shall comply with the requirements of chapter 13. When ships crew tested the M/E MGV #2 the gas detection system read 94% LEL. 70% LEL was the span gas being used. Sensor was reading 8% during normal operation. 74SOAL(20)VII/13.1 ICG(16)/16.3.2
