The owner or operator of an OSV shall make the vessel available for inspection by a marine inspector Each time a defect is discovered that affects The safety of the vessel. Vessel identified 6in crack in the port inboard pontoon. Upon completion of USCG & ABS approved temporary repair vessel may return to service for up to 14 days or until a local drydock has availability for permanent repairs, which ever is sooner. Vessel must follow all USCG & ABS mitigation plans while operating with the temp repair. If the crack returns or grows while operating the vessel must return to port and remain out of service until permanent repairs are made.

Each cable and wire must be supported so as to avoid chafing or other damage; Be installed without sharp bends. Vessel reported electrical fire in the pilothouse from wires/cables chafing. Conduct repairs and test systems impacted to satisfaction of CG marine inspector.
