The purpose of this regulation is to contain a fire in the space of origin. For this purpose, the following functional requirements shall be met: the fire integrity of the divisions shall be maintained at openings and penetrations. PSCO observed a sliding glass door in a Class "A0" fire boundary in the vicinity of the aft dining hall on deck two. This door was self opening and closing. The integrity of the "A0" boundary cannot be maintained in its operating state as it is motion activated with no failsafe cutoff.
