Scantlings, material, and workmanship, subdivision of cargo spaces, fitting of cofferdams, and testing of tanks shall be at least equivalent to the requirements of the American Bureau of Shipping or other recognized classification society. MI received report of damage to the port stern of the barge resulting in 4' of standing water in a single void. The damaged area is a 2' puncture 5' above the waterline. Vessel is permitted a one time transit to Southwest Shipyard where they shall crop and renew damaged area to the satisfaction of a CG marine inspector. 46CFR32.60-1(a)
