The floating electric water light was not of the approved type. Vessels greater than 26 feet must be fitted with a floating electric water light approved under 46 CFR 161.010. Replace existing water light with approved type to the satisfaction of the attending Coast Guard Marine inspector. Vessel shall not operate at night.
