Machinery and electrical systems must be designed and maintained to provide for safe operation of the towing vessel and safety of persons onboard under normal and emergency conditions. While moored in the Port of Point Comfort, the vessel experienced fluctuating rpms on the port generator. Vessel shall safely transit to Houston to make permanent repairs, to the satisfaction of the TPO, and provide Coast Guard with a technician report attesting to satisfactory repairs.

Each towing vessel must be equipped with navigation lights, shapes, and sound signals in accordance with the International Regulations for Prevention of Collisions at Sea (COLREGS) or 33 CFR part 84 as appropriate to its area of operation. Vessel's mast reported to have collided with a bridge rendering the mast lights inoperable. Vessel is restricted to day time operations only until repairs are made to the satisfaction of TPO. Provide TPO report attesting to repairs to [email withheld] prior to resuming operations.
