A vessel not required to have a power driven fire pump by § 181.300 must have at least three 2.5 gallon buckets, with an attached lanyard satisfactory to the cognizant OCMI, placed so as to be easily available during an emergency. The words “FIRE BUCKET” must be stenciled in a contrasting color on each bucket.
MI found that the vessel was missing 01 fire bucket.

Vessel was due for drydock examination on March 31st, 2025 and has yet to receive a drydock exam. Vessel shall not operate with passengers until an drydock inspection has been completed.
