Machinery and electrical systems must be designed and maintained to provide for safe operation of the towing vessel and safety of persons on board under normal and emergency conditions.
Vessel reported faulty pressure switch on port z-drive. Vessel permitted transit from HD1 in Houston, TX to Pelican Island in Galveston, TX. Permanent repairs to be conducted to the satisfaction of the TPO prior to any additional vessel movements.
