All Marlin Type 1 life jackets installed on vessel (Model 320RT for Adults and Model 321RT for Child size) have a malfunctioning spring-loaded tab on the snap hook of the safety strap. The spring-loaded tabs fail to spring back,(return to closed position) after depressing to secure snap hook in place. No later than 18 July 2025, inform [name withheld] of the corrective action plan to replace all affected life jackets installed on board with fully functioning Type 1 Adult and Child size life jackets. 46 CFR 176.808(b)

Vessels portable fire extinguishers did not meet class type requirements as per vessels COI. Vessel owner installed new serviceable fire extinguishers during inspection. Deficiency cleared. Shutoff valves, installed so as to close against the fuel flow, must be fitted in the fuel supply lines at the tank connection. The shutoff valve at the tank must be manually operable from outside the compartment in which the valve is located. The T- handles for the shutoff valves were not in place.
