ALL SHIPS 500 GT AND UPWARDS SHALL HAVE A GYROCOMPASS, OR OTHER MEANS TO DETERMINE AND DISPLAY THEIR HEADINS BY SHIPBORNE NON-MAGNETIC MEANS, BEING CLEARLY READABLE BY THE HELMSMAN AT MAIN STEERING POSITION. PSCO RECEIVED REPORT THAT BOTH GYROCOMPASSES ONBOARD WERE MALFUNCTIONING AND OFF BY AT LEAST 10 DEGREES AND DISPLAYED MULTIPLE ERROR CODES. VESSEL SHALL PROVIDE SECTOR PUGET SOUND WITH CLASS REPORT ATTESTING TO PROPER OPERATION OF GYROCOMPASSES.
