The hydrocarbon gas detection equipment including sample piping, samplepumps, solenoids, analysing units etc., shall be located in a reasonably gas-tightcabinet (e.g., fully enclosed steel cabinet with a door with gaskets) which is to bemonitored by its own sampling point. At a gas concentration above 30% of the lowerflammable limit inside the steel enclosure the entire gas analysing unit is to beautomatically shut down. PSCO observed there is no internal gas sampling point inside the gas sampling cabinet. 74SOLAS(24) II-2/4.5.7.3.1 FSS (15) 16.2.2.2.1.4
