Each floating waterlight must be approved in accordance with § 161.010 in subchapter Q of this chapter, or other standard specified by the Commandant, including, but not limited to, approval series 160.110. Installed floating waterlight had the wrong batteries installed (alkaline) and they had not been replaced annualy per the Q spec approval letter and the label on the waterlight. Installed ACR SM-3 requires Energizer AA L91 Lithium batteries per manufacturer and approval letter and require replacement at least annually.
