At each initial and subsequent inspection for certification, the marine inspector may require that a fire drill be held under simulated emergency conditions specified by the inspector. Once the vessel has arrived in the Virgin Island's OCMI zone, they shall coordinate with their local Coast Guard office to perform a fire drill with the crew operating the vessel.

Once the vessel has arrived in the Virgin Island's OCMI zone, they shall coordinate with their local Coast Guard office to perform an abandon ship drill and a man overboard drill with the crew operating the vessel.
