(a)"The condition of the ship and its equipment shall be maintained to conform with the provisions of present regulations to ensure that the ship in all respects will remain fit to proceed to sea without danger to the ship or persons on board." Vessel reported inoperable fixed gas detection system's H2S (hydrogen sulfide) sensor in accommodation area is currently malfunctioning. Vessel also reported O2 sensor in the CO2 room is non-operational due to the use of an expired cartridge. 74SOLAS(20)I/11(a)
