months before or after each anniversary date...Your vessel must undergo a periodic inspection within 3 months before or after the second or third anniversary of the date of your vessel's Certificate of Inspection. This periodic inspection will take the place of an annual inspection. The vessels anniversary date is 01DEC2027 and was required to have its periodic inspection performed no later that 01MAR2026. The vessel had its periodic inspection scheduled for 12 days after the 3 month allowable period. Company shall ensure future inspections are scheduled within the required time period.

The scope of the annual inspection is the same as the inspection for certification but in less detail unless the cognizant marine inspector finds deficiencies or determines that a major change has occurred since the last inspection. The inspection for certification shall include an inspection of the structure…and equipment. The inspection shall be such to insure that the vessel, as regards the structure…and equipment is in satisfactory condition and fit for the service for which it is intended. During the vessels annual inspection, the marine inspector identified a dime sized hole in the #4 cargo tank in vicinity of the port aft side plating along the bottom side, allowing the potential free flow of oil field waste directly overboard. The vessel shall make necessary repairs prior to departing Broussard Brothers shipyard and carrying any cargo.

Tank hatch cover needs to be clearly marked "DANGER - KEEP OUT".

Install insulation on exhaust piping for the prime mover.

Provide means to permanently elevate the battery box off the deck.

BARGE TO COMPLETE DRYDOCK, INTERNAL STRUCTURAL, AND CARGO TANK EXAMS TO THESATISFACTION OF AN ATTENDING COAST GUARD MARINE INSPECTOR.
