Ships shall be designed, constructed and maintained in compliance with the structural, mechanical and electrical requirements of a classification society which is recognized by the administration. Vessel reported that the vessel's generators cooling systems were clogged with Sargassum. After cleaning the cooling system the generators remained inoperable. SOLAS 2004 II-1/3-1
