A failed weld was identified in the overhead pipe sleeve at the connection to the aft bulkhead within the stbd fuel tank. The sleeve houses several hydraulic pipes associated with the steering system. The weld was observed leaking an unidentified fluid. Further inspection and permanent repair required within one year of this CG-835.
