Rails or equivalent protection must be installed near the periphery of all decks accessible to crew. Equivalent protection may include lifelines, wire rope, chains, and bulwarks that provide strength and support equivalent to fixed rails. Vessel's catwalk deck area does not have handrails or any fall protection.

Resolved 14 July 2026
Resolution: Vessel installed a temporary repair. Repair consisted of placing ratchet straps along the cat walk on the main deck of the vessel for both port and stbd sides.
