Report of engine room aft bilge holding, holed in way of sounding pipe (see attached pdf). Temporarily approved repairs made with double strong back and gasket (internal and external) with an additional cement box. Vessel was issued a Condition of Class by Lloyd's Register to make permanent repairs by 31AUG07.

Resolution: Received faxed class report from Lloyd’s Register approving temporary repairs and verifying that permanent repairs will be effected at the next dry-docking.

Crew reported a leak in the bilge tank. Sector Boston put a COTP order on the vessel. Divers later confirmed a hole located in the tank bottom in the vicinity of sounding tube of the bilge tank. A temporary repair now has been made with the use of a strong back and epoxy resin. Vessel now given Condition of Class for one voyage only, to next port of New York/New Jersey.
