A dry dock examination conducted in compliance with 46 CFR 115.600 of this part must be conducted while the vessel is hauled out of the water or placed in a dry dock or slipway. During the examination all accessible parts of the vessel's underwater body and all through hull fittings, including the hull plating, appendages, propellers, shafts, bearings, rudders, sea chests, sea valves, and sea strainers shall be made available for examination. MI's identified several areas along the port/stbd hull that requires to be sanded down, reinspected and new application of gel coat: 1. Three small areas on the forward, stbd hull. 2. One small area on aft corner of the starboard hull. 3. Two small areas inboard of port side, forward hull. 4. One small area on the port side, midship hull. 5. One small area on aft corner of the port side hull. 46 CFR 115.610(a)

An internal structural examination conducted in compliance with § 115.600 of this part may be conducted while the vessel is afloat or out of the water and consists of a complete examination of the vessel's main strength members, including the major internal framing, the hull plating, voids, and ballast, cargo, and fuel oil tanks. MIs observed the outside corner on the deck of the compartment containing the glass bottom has water damage and needs to be resealed to prevent further water intrusion and damage. MI's observed a 4-foot wooden board located inside, aft of the glass bottom compartment, is water damaged and deteriorating. The board must be replaced and secured beneath the deck. 46 CFR 115.610(b)

A vessel must be provided with bilge pumps IAW Table 182.520(a). Port side submersible electric bilge pump was inoperable.

On a vessel of at least 26 feet in length, a visual and audible alarm must be provided at the operating station to indicate high water level. Visual indicator lamp was inoperable.

An adult life jacket must be provided for each person carried on board a vessel. One life jacket was found wasted and not serviceable. Passenger count is limited to 48 passengers.

Prior to the carriage of passengers replace/renew EPIRB battery that expired 08/2011.

Renew/replace STBD amidships hull, port amidships hull and port aft hull I bilge discharge hose.

Replace Racor fuel filter bottom with metal bowls both port and STBD sides.

Provide updated COD onboard.

Provide proof of radio operators permit for master, "Holly Alfery".

Provide up-to-date corrected charts.

Renew port and stbd fuel tank shut-off valves.

Renew port engine fuel line with approved hose.

Replace ammonia inhalants in first aid kit.

Replace stbd aft alectric bilge pump with "UL" approved pump and show proper operation prior to carriage of pax.

Replace port electric bilge pumps with "UL" approved pumps, once the two current pumps become unserviceable.

Renew retro reflective tape on life jackets.

Add "1" adult life jacket to make a total of "51" IAW COI.

Sand back to good fiberglass all areas along the exterior hull identified by USCG in yellow crayon and make repair IAW "Approved " plans.

Re-caulk glass bottom.

Make proper repairs to #2 deep web frame in port hull that is cracked.

Properly seal thru deck for wash down hose, port hull.

Replace MSD pump out hose, electric submersible pump hose and deck drain hose for head.

Remove dead end wire from aft interior hull IWO port fuel piping and valves.

Make proper repairs to deck fwd outboard side of viewing box and STBD aft corner of viewing box.

Attach both aft and center electric submersible pumps in STBD hull.

Re-bed port hull through hull fitting for head raw water.

Re-mount electric submersable bilge pumps on stbd side 2nd void and aft void.

Provide 3/4 full level indicator on MSD tank port side.

Secure leak IWO beckson hatch on MSD tank.

Properly seal head mold to deck to prevent water intrusion.

Make proper repairs to bow area just below rub rail and on port bow stem and port stern. Submit photos to marine inspector after areas are ground back to good fiberglass.

Prove operation of audible bilge alarm.

Grind out and seal areas identified on hull.

Renew all viewing port fasteners.

Secure Portside hull submersible pump.

Repair or replace portside hull lighting fixture.

Renew split rings on clevis pins, starboard side swim ladder and portside swim ladder.

Properly mount all Electrical Bilge Pumps.

Attach Lanyard to Fire Fighting Buckets.

Provide proper scale corrected navigation chart.

Provide a B II Fire Extinguisher with current annual service.

Install proper size cotter pins in all dive ladder clevis pins, 4ea.

Renew ring life buoy water light lanyard line.

Provide 2 additonal adult PFDs. Passengers are reduced to 47 until this item has been corrected.
