0735-Personal Equipment, Fire Fighting- Fire fighters outfit shall comply with the req's of the FSS Code. A fire-proof lifeline of at least 30M in length shall be provided. The lifeline shall be capable of being attached by means of a snap-hook to the harness of the apparatus or belt. The two lifelines provided onboard were not fire proof. 74SOLAS II-2/10.1 FSS Code CH. 3 Reg 2.1.3.
