1510 All ships shall have a properly adjusted standard magnetic compass to view at the main steering position. Vessel's magnetic compass does not show reading from bridge. Vessel's crew is relaying compass heading verbally from compass to bridge. SOLAS 74 (2009) Ch. V-19.2.1.1
