During the course of a random PSC exam USCG inspectors determined that an expanded MARPOL exam was necessary after finding ten or more rubber hoses that led to multiple tanks/bilges under the deck plates. Three rubber hoses with flange attachments were also discovered on an oil soaked deck in the Transformer Room. One hose was found to match a connection to bypass the OWS.

After six months the vessel has only reported one non-conformity and the chief engineer has observed numerous deficiencies such as the air conditioning onboard the vessel not being operational and the lube oil purifier being in pieces. An external audit is requested.
