ON 05 DECEMBER 1994 THE VESSEL KOTOBUKI MARU NO. 30 OPERATED BY KOTOBUKI MARU TSUDA GYOGYO K.K. WAS OPERATING IN HONOLULU HARBOR EQUIPPED WITH INSTALLED TOILET FACILITIES, WHICH WAS EQUIPPED WITH A TYPE II MARINE SANITATION DEVICE. THE DEVICE WAS RENDERED INOP BECOUSE IT WAS BYPASSED.
