All escape hatches and other emergency exits used as means of escape must be marked on both sides in clearly legible letters at least 2 inches high: EMERGENCY EXIT, KEEP CLEAR, Porperly label all emergency exits.

The station bill of a vessel of more than 65 feet in length, required to have more than four crew members, must set forth the special duties and duty station of each crew member for various emergencies. The station bill on board the vessel did not include or fully address for each crew member (list is from reg site): (1) The closing of (as applicable) hatches, airports, watertight doors, vents, scuppers, and valves for intake and discharge lines that penetrate the hull, the stopping of fans and ventilating systems, and the operating of all safety equipment; (2) The preparing and launching of survival craft and rescue boats (This content is NOT APPLICABLE, however, recommend content include duties for recovery of a person in water); (3) The extinguishing of fire; and (4) The mustering of passengers including the following: (i) Warning the passengers; (ii) Assembling the passengers and directing them to their appointed stations; and (iii) Keeping order in the passageways and stairways and generally controlling the movement of the passengers. Resolve by 05 July 2024.

IAW 46 CFR 116.115 vessel is authorized to meet regulations applicable to the vessel on March 10, 1996. On passenger decks of vessels engaged in an excursion type operation, rails shall be at least 42 inches high. The space below the rail shall be fitted with bulwarks, chain link fencing, wire mesh, or the equivalent. Space below rail was not fitted with an bulwarks, chain link fencing, wire mesh, or equivalent. Resolve by 05 July 2024.

Each vessel inspected and certificated under the provisions of this Subchapter (K) must, when any passengers are aboard during the tenure of the certificate, be in full compliance with the terms of the certificate. COI requires Senior Deckhand to be designated in writing by the vessel Master. Senior deckhands listed but not specifically designated by each credentialed officer employed as the vessel's master.

Spanner wrenches must be provided for each fire hydrant required by this regulation. A sufficient number of spanner wrenches (one per hydrant) were not provided.

Placards containing instructions for the donning and use of lifejackets onboard the vessel must be posted in conspicuous places visible to the crew and passengers.

Cap or plug unused pipes penetrating bulkhead on 2nd deck starboard side aft and forward.

Replace lifeline on bridge deck lifebuoy. Found worn and frayed.

Replace retro tape on 13 child size lifejackets.

Label child and adult lifejacket stowage boxes with the correct number of jackets.

Electrical boxes in bow and engine room need latches.

Repair MDE RPM, starboard generator RPM and starboard generator water temp gauges.
