A vessel must be operated in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and in such a manner as to afford protection against hazards to life, property, and the environment. Vessel owner/ master reported an engine fire onboard the vessel. Prior to the vessel moving from its current location, the vessel shall provide a third party survey report following examination by an attending surveyor and shall submit a writen transit plan to my office for review. Vessel must have a satisfactory inspection prior to being put back in service.
