Starboard side lifeboat davit wheels would not turn freely while being raised due to lack of maintenance to the davit roller-track assembly. This causes the davits to be overstressed by the wheels sticking and jumping inside the track. (Not the wire sheaves). Due by next dry-dock date; ranges from JUN - DEC 2007. Until then, the lifeboat will still serve its purpose in the event of an emergency.
