Inbound: 07APR08 The vessel was granted a Letter of Deviation to enter the Port of Corpus Christi with an inoperable primary radar. The following restrictions are required: daylight transit only. Vessel departed port without repairs. The vessel is still required to submit inbound deviation requests at future U.S. ports until the equipment is repaired.

During test of emergency fuel shut down for emergency generator, inspectors observed that fuel could not be shut down from external bulkhead. Fuel could only be shut down by manually closing valve inside emergency generator space. Crew is to repair and review valve to provide emergency fuel shutdown operation. IAW Solas 74 Chapter II-1 Regulation 44. Prior to next U.S port after sailing foriegn.
