A pre-engineered fixed gas fire extinguishing system must automatically shut down all engines that draw intake air from within the space. The installed pre-engineered fire system did not shut down the main engines during operational testing. Make repairs to the same and conduct an operational test of the system in the presence of a Marine Inspector.
