Except as allowed by paragraph (d) of this section, each life jacket must be approved in accordance with either 46 CFR 160.002, 46 CFR 160.005, or 46 CFR 160.055 in sub chapter Q of this chapter or other stand specified by the Commandant... 05 adult sized PFDs and 01 child sized PFD found with deteriorated retro reflective tape. Replace with new. Vessel's passenger count is reduced to 103 until new PFDs are placed into proper service.
