Vessels shall be inspected for the compliance with the standards required by this subchapter, for items not covered in this subchapter, inspection shall be in accordance with good marine practice. During inspection, it was noticed that the port and stbd main cabin deck edge entry water tight doors were in poor repair. Stbd watertight door was missing the lower water tight seal, and part of its sealing edge was damaged by loading ramps. Port watertight door had three of the dogs missing.

During inspection, MI noticed the port and stbd side rails aluminum sheathing bolted onto forward bulwark protecting passengers from falling overboard through the rail course was found loose with broken and missing bolts.
