A power-driven vessel underway shall exhibit a second masthead light abaft and higher than the foward one. A masthead light is a white light showing an unbroken light over an arc of the horizon of 225 degrees and so fixed as to show the light from right ahead to 22.5 degrees abaft the beam. While vessel is in Jacksonville at Jaxport a crane collided with the vessel mast during cargo ops, damaging the second mast head light. 33CFR83.23(a)(2)
