The hurricane deck (weather deck) deck drains are backing up to the interior passenger spaces. The weather deck must have freeing ports to allow rapid clearing of water under all weather conditions. In addition the excessive water on the deck pose a slip trip and fall hazard to passenger and crew. Prior to getting underway with passengers demonstrate that the deck drains on the hurricane deck flow freely and do not back up into any other space.
