At each initial and subsequent inspection for certification of a vessel, the owner or managing operator shall be prepared to conduct tests and have the vessel ready for inspections of the hull structure and its appurtenances. MI observed potential thinning out of the bottom plate in the lazarette bottom hull. Operator is to conduct 3rd party gauging of the bottom plate in the lazarette and provide plan to repair any wasted areas prior to credit hull inspection.
