(2)Each lifejacket must have a whistle firmly secured by a cord to the lifejacket. Lifejackets onboard are not properly outfitted or labeled. Provide 7 lifejackets with proper labeling and attachments as required by the vessel's COI to the satisfaction of CG marine inspector.

Emergency eye wash and a sample of items in the vessel's first aid kit were expired. Replace eye wash and expired first aid kit supplies to satisfaction of CG marine inspector.

Each towing vessel must be fitted with a general alarm that: has installed, in the engine room and any other area where background noise makes a general alarm hard to hear, a supplemental flashing red light that is identified with a sign that reads: “Attention General Alarm—When Alarm Sounds or Flashes Go to Your Station”. Visual signal was found to be non-operational. Replace/repair to full operational status. 46CFR143.235(b)(3).
