Numerous dead-end wires unused electrical equipment were found throughout the engine room. Including wires on top of the port engine, a red line that used to connect to the starboard alternator, and a white coil of wire located near the starboard shaft. Remove or terminate in an approved junction box all dead-end wires and unused electrical equipment to the satisfaction of the attending marine inspector. 46 CFR 183.01-15
