Shutoff valves, installed so as to close against the fuel flow, must be fitted in the fuel supply lines, one at the tank connection and one at the engine end of the fuel line to stop fuel flow when servicing accessories. The shutoff valve at the tank must be manually operable from outside the compartment in which the valve is located, preferably from an accessible position on the weather deck. If the handle to the shutoff valve at the tank is located inside the machinery space, it must be located so that the operator does not have to reach more than 300 millimeters (12 inches) into the machinery space and the valve handle must be shielded from flames by the same material the hull is constructed of, or some noncombustible material. Electric solenoid valves must not be used, unless used in addition to the manual valve. Shut off valve was located Approx. 2 1/2' into the compartment. Install a remote pull for the emergency fuel shutoff valve. 46CFR182.455(b)(4)

The owner, managing operator or a qualified servicing facility shall conduct the following inspections and tests: for portable fire extinguishers, the inspections, maintenance procedures and hydrostatic pressure tests required by Chapter 4 of NFPA 10. Portable fire extinguishers were last inspected by third party on June 11, 2020.

The owner, managing operator or a qualified servicing facility shall conduct the following inspections and tests: for fixed gas fire extinguishing systems, the inspections and tests required by Table 176.810(b)(2), in addition to 46 CFR 147.60, 147.65, 147.66 and 147.67. Pre-engineered fire extinguishing equipment was last inspected by third party on June 11, 2020.

A submersible electric bilge pump bilge pump must be listed by an independent laboratory as meeting the requirements in UL 1113. The installed bilge pump does not meet UL 1113.

Remote fuel shutoff stations must be marked in clearly legible letters at least 1 inch high indicating purpose of the valve and direction of operation. Letters were faded to the point of illegibility.

A vessel must undergo an annual inspection within the 3 months before or after each anniversary date. Vessel continued to operate beyond its 90-day window.

The vessel's B-II portable fire extinguishing bracket is severely wasted. Provide vessel with a new bracket.

Vessel does not have their child and adult lifejackets stowage properly labeled with amount of each type. Properly label the stowage compartment properly with number of each lifejacket.

Vessel has not been logging man overboard and fire drills. Log drills and submit to CG.

Vessel has a new master operating with the company and is not listed on the drug consortium information. Provide an up to date drug consortium document.
