At each initial and subsequent inspection for certification, the marine inspector may require that an abandon ship or man overboard drill be held under simulated emergency conditions specified by the inspector. The Master onboard the vessel during the inspection did not have a valid MMC and not listed on the drug and alcohol program. Vessel restricted to carrying passengers until emergency drills are conducted and witnessed by the attending Marine Inspector.

The retroreflective material on 11 of the 30 adult sized lifejackets was found wasted. Vessel restricted to 19 total persons.
