No servicing of fixed fire extinguishing system was completed since May 2024. Complete servicing of fixed fire suppression system. Vessel is restricted from carrying more than 06 passengers until fire suppression system is serviced. 46CFR176.810(b)(2)

Prior to departing on a voyage, the passenger count must be communicated verbally or in writing, and available ashore at the vessel's normal berthing location or with a representative of the owner or managing owner of the vessel. Passenger count procedures were not established at the time of inspection. Provide procedures to CG marine inspector prior to COI issuance.

Each floating waterlight must be approved IAW 161.010 in subchapter Q. Each ring life buoy with a waterlight must have a lanyard of at least 3-6' in length securing the waterlight around the body of the ring life buoy. The waterlight on a vessel carrying only one life buoy must be attached to the lanyard with a corrosion-resistant clip. Waterlight onboard was not approved IAW 161.010, no lanyard was provided and no corrosion-resistant clip was installed. Provide approved waterlight with proper securing devices.

A vessel not required to have a power driven fire pump must have at least three 2.5 gallon buckets, with an attached lanyard, placed so as to be easily available during an emergency. The words “FIRE BUCKET” must be stenciled in a contrasting color on each bucket. Vessel was missing fire buckets. Properly outfit/label fire buckets and place on the vessel prior to COI issuance.

Conductors shall be supported throughout their length or, alternatively shall be secured at least every 18" by non-metallic clamps or metal straps. Non-metallic straps or clamps shall not be used over engine(s), moving shafts, other machinery or passageways. Wire and cable runs in the engine room were all supported with plastic zip-ties. Replace zip-ties with appropriate metallic supports above engines and other machinery prior to COI issuance.
