During testing of emergency diesel generator (EDG) after installation of the new coupling it failed on the fifth start. This is the second failure of the EDG coupling in the past week. Because of this the EDG is inoperable now and the coupling needs to be replaced. Vessel cannot depart the Port of Guam until satisfactory repairs are made to the EDG to the satisfaction of ABS or USCG.
