At each initial and subsequent inspection for certification of a vessel, the owner or managing operator shall be prepared to conduct tests and have the vessel ready for inspections of machinery, fuel, and piping systems, to include the perational test of the means provided for pumping bilges. When operator switches to the auto bilge pump, the bilge pump stays on irrevelant to the bilge float switch. Correct auto bilge pump to operate as designed.

The child size lifejackets were intermixed with the adult lifejackets. To the satisfaction of the attending Marine Inspector separate child size lifejackets from the adult lifejackets and label IAW 46CFR180.78.
