The inert gas system referred to in regulation 60 shall be designed, constructed and tested to the satisfaction of the Administration. The vessel's inert gas generator has a jacket water leak that extinguishes the flame when attempting to start the system. this renders the inert gas generator unable to start and display a flame failure alarm. Vessel is not to conduct cargo operations that require an inert gas system. 74 SOLAS (2001) II-2/62.1
